Save the Maitai group questions council’s consultation on Kaka Valley project

Save the Maitai campaigners have claimed the Nelson City Council failed to follow its own advice with regard to a potential residential subdivision in the Kaka Valley, but council says it followed a “robust” consultation process.

The group has said there were “serious flaws” in the council’s process to designate the land as a residential development area in its 2019 Future Development Strategy.
